1.1.4 is released! Don’t update yet!

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

1.1.4 version of the firmware has been released. As always when you’re talking about unlock and jailbreaking, things must be verified first before doing any upgrade. Rumors stand that some people have upgrade their iphone and have succeeded in unlock their iphone with ziphone, but it is strongly recommended that you wait until it is verified that the upgrade doesn’t do any harm.

The ultrasimple iPhone unlocker is here!

Ziphone does it all.

It jailbreaks, activates and unlock all in one. And it works with any version, 1.1.1 OTB, 1.1.2 OTB or even the recent 1.1.3 OTB. There even is a graphical interface for both Windows and Macs.

Important Notes:

1. On Windows, you’ll need to install .Net Framework 2.0.

2. ZiPhone does not work on the 16gb iTouch models where there are 2 flash memory chips of 8GB but will work on the those with one 16gb chip. This is known as the BSD root problem. I haven’t tried on a 16Gb iPhone. Anyone knows if it works?
